How to use the product quickstart, the first step for new Bunny accounts

Starting a new venture or integrating a new tool can be daunting so we've tried to make the initial onboarding and setup of your products and pricing plans easy. Enter Bunny's product quickstart tool, a feature designed to make your onboarding experience smoother, faster, and more efficient.

Why is the Product quickstart a must-use?

  1. Products and plans at the core: The first step in Bunny is defining your products and plans. This is the foundation of your entire experience in Bunny and the base from which all subscriptions will be created. With the product quickstart, the process of setting up products is streamlined. You can swiftly create up to three plans, complete with pricing and features.

  2. Flexibility for the Future: While the quickstart tool is designed for speed and ease, it doesn't lock you into your initial choices. Once you've set up your products, you can delve deeper into the product catalog and modify both products and plans as per your needs. Whether it's changing to a tiered pricing model or tweaking the features of a plan, the power is in your hands.

  3. Efficiency is Key: One of the standout features of the product quickstart is its ability to inherit features from other plans. If you're modeling multiple plans, there's no need to repetitively input the same features. With the simple click of a checkbox, plans can inherit features from others, saving you time and ensuring consistency across your offerings.

A Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Quickstart Tool:

  1. Navigate to the Product Quickstart Tool

You can find this by clicking on the Products menu and then selecting Products.

  2. Define Your Plans

Here, you can model up to three plans. For instance, if you're setting up something similar to Superdesk's offerings, you can define three distinct plans with both monthly and annual pricing options. If you have more than 3 plans you can add these later.

  3. Inherit Features

If plans 2 and 3 share features with plan 1, simply use the checkboxes to inherit these features. This ensures you don't have to manually input the same features multiple times.

  4. Finalize and Create

Once you're satisfied with the setup, click on "Create plans". Voilà! You're all set.

If you're new to Bunny give the product quickstart tool a spin. It's the first step towards a seamless Bunny experience.
