Siloed data

Bunny is the single source of truth

Bunny unifies PLG and SLG revenue into a single source of truth, enabling automation for revenue recognition, SaaS metrics, and renewals - helping teams save time, reduce costs, and focus on key metrics like NRR and GRR.

Without a single source of truth, you're always questioning the data

With revenue data scattered across multiple applications, you burn endless cycles trying to understand it. PLG revenue is in Stripe, SLG revenue in QuickBooks. Signed quotes are in Docusign, but sometimes also in Salesforce. If the person remembered to upload it, etc.
Siloed data

The resulting pains:

No clear audit trail
Data needs to be reconciled to understand the full picture
Amounts may be missed or double counted
Employees waste time hunting data
Upsells and renewals are manual nightmares
Complex revenue recognition and calculation of SaaS metrics
Board distrust in numbers
With data silos, you are always cleaning and verifying data. And as the amount of data grows, the effort becomes even more time-consuming and error prone.

See what one source of truth actually looks like

A two-minute walkthrough of Bunny analytics — MRR and ARR movements, trials, retention, collections and invoice forecasting, all calculated from live billing data rather than reconciled together at month end.

Bunny Analytics is organized into several sections. In addition to the overview, you can navigate to trials, revenue, collections, retention, forecast, and renewals. The overview dashboard gives you a quick snapshot of your business. Here, you can view monthly and annual recurring revenue, monthly revenue over time, and the number of new and total paying accounts.

The Trials dashboard helps you monitor who is trying the product and how those trials are performing. You can see trials per month, which ones are converting, and which ones are dropping off. You can also see where trials are coming from across the US and globally. The Revenue dashboard provides a deeper look at your revenue.

In addition to MRR and ARR, you can view monthly revenue over time here, along with the movements. This is a drill down where you can see new business, expansion, contraction, and outright churn. We also track compound growth rate, as well as revenue per state and country. The Collections dashboard helps you stay on top of customer collections.

You can see how your outstanding revenue is aging from zero to ninety days, along with the top unpaid accounts. On the Retention dashboard, we take a closer look at how effectively you are retaining your customers. At the top, you can see monthly churn rate, followed by net retention and gross retention, which are two very important metrics for SaaS businesses.

Finally, you have a cohort chart that shows how well you are retaining customers over time. The Forecast dashboard lets you predict how much revenue you're collecting in the coming months. You can see the monthly numbers at the top, as well as the detailed invoices being collected below. Finally, we have the renewals. The renewal amounts per month are shown in the top chart, followed by detailed accounts in the table below. And this is Bunny Analytics.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does siloed revenue data look like in practice?
Revenue data scattered across applications: PLG revenue in Stripe, SLG revenue in QuickBooks, signed quotes in DocuSign and sometimes also in Salesforce — if someone remembered to upload them.
What problems does siloed data cause?
No clear audit trail, data that must be reconciled before you can see the full picture, amounts that get missed or double counted, employees wasting time hunting for data, upsells and renewals that become manual nightmares, complex revenue recognition and SaaS metric calculation, and board distrust in the numbers.
Does the problem get worse over time?
Yes. With data silos you are always cleaning and verifying data, and as the volume grows the effort becomes more time-consuming and more error prone.
How does Bunny become a single source of truth?
Bunny unifies PLG and SLG revenue in one system, which enables automation for revenue recognition, SaaS metrics and renewals — saving time, reducing cost and letting teams focus on metrics like NRR and GRR.
Which metrics become reliable once data is unified?
Net revenue retention and gross revenue retention, along with the rest of your SaaS metrics, become calculable in real time rather than reconstructed by reconciling systems.
Why can't we just reconcile the systems we already have?
You can, but it is manual work that repeats forever and grows with your data volume. Every reconciliation pass is an opportunity for amounts to be missed or double counted, which is what erodes trust in the numbers.
