Bunny CPQ · Quoting software

Sales quoting software that knows what the customer already pays for

Bunny is sales quoting software for B2B SaaS — part of Bunny’s billing, CPQ and RevOps platform. Reps build branded quotes with approvals, ramps, discounts and e-signature, and because Bunny also runs billing, the accepted quote becomes the subscription. No re-keying, and every renewal is quoted from the live contract.

The problem

Why do PandaDoc, HubSpot quotes and spreadsheets break for SaaS?

They are built to produce a document. A SaaS quote is not a one-off sale — it starts, changes or renews a subscription that will be billed for years. The first deal is fine. Deal two, three and the renewal are where it falls apart.

01

Renewals start from a blank page

The quoting tool doesn’t know what the customer pays today, which add-ons they picked up mid-term or what uplift they agreed to. Someone digs through old PDFs and rebuilds it.

02

Ramps live in a footnote

A three-year deal that steps from 50 to 150 seats gets typed into a pricing table. Nothing makes sure year two is actually invoiced at the year-two price.

03

Mid-term changes need a calculator

Adding 20 seats five months into an annual term means proration, co-terming and a new invoice. A document tool leaves all of that to the rep and finance.

04

Finance re-keys every deal

The signed PDF goes to finance, who type it into the billing system by hand. Every manual hop is a chance for the invoice to disagree with the contract.

Capabilities

What Bunny’s sales quoting software does

Everything a rep needs to get a quote out the door — and everything finance needs to trust it once it’s signed.

Branded quote templates

Build document templates with headers, contract language, images, merge fields and a signature block. Keep separate templates for new deals, amendments and renewals.

Approval workflows

Rules on quote amount, discount, product, plan or billing period route the quote to an approver before it can be shared. More in our approval workflow guide.

E-signature built in

Customers accept in the portal, or sign with free Bunny Sign, DocuSign, Dropbox Sign or PandaDoc — with multiple signers and an optional PO number captured on acceptance.

Ramps and multi-year terms

Add a product as a ramp deal, pick a one- to five-year term, and choose how much to invoice up front.

Discounts that stay tidy

Set a discount, a unit price or a target total and Bunny does the maths — without creating a customer-specific product in your catalog.

Renewal quotes from the contract

Renew one or several subscriptions at once and the quote opens with today’s terms, ready for new prices, discounts and upsells. See renewal management.

Co-terming and proration

Mid-term add-ons are co-termed to the existing end date and prorated automatically, so the customer gets one renewal and fewer invoices.

Quote becomes the subscription

Apply the accepted quote and it becomes the subscription, the invoice and the renewal date. The signed order form is the billing instruction.

Designing the process around it?

Our guide to structuring a quoting workflow covers who approves what, and when. For the bigger picture on configure-price-quote for subscriptions, read CPQ for SaaS.

Spreadsheet, document tool or subscription-aware quoting?

Document quoting tools like PandaDoc are excellent at the document and the signature, and they push the approved deal to a billing system. Bunny is the billing system — which is what makes the second, third and renewal quote easy.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is sales quoting software?
Sales quoting software lets reps assemble products, prices and discounts into a quote the customer can review and sign. Good quoting software also enforces pricing policy with approvals and produces a branded document. For a SaaS business it needs one more thing: an understanding of the subscription the quote creates or changes.
How is Bunny different from PandaDoc or HubSpot quotes?
PandaDoc builds and signs great documents, then hands the deal to whatever bills it. HubSpot quotes live in the CRM. Bunny is the system that bills the customer, so the accepted quote becomes the subscription, the invoice schedule and the renewal directly, and every later upgrade or renewal is quoted against the live contract.
Can I keep PandaDoc or DocuSign for signatures?
Yes. Bunny quotes can be signed with Bunny Sign, which is free, or through the DocuSign, Dropbox Sign and PandaDoc integrations. Multiple signers are supported, and the quote is marked accepted once everyone has signed.
Does Bunny's quoting software support approval workflows?
Yes. Approval rules route a quote to the right approver when it crosses a threshold you set: quote amount, overall or line-item discount, specific products or plans, or billing period. The quote cannot be shared until it is approved.
Can a quote include ramps, discounts and multi-year terms?
Yes. Reps can add a product as a ramp deal, override unit prices or totals, apply discounts and pick one- to five-year terms, with the billing schedule generated from the quote.
How are renewals and mid-term changes quoted?
From the subscription. Select one or more subscriptions on the account and choose renew, change or change plan; Bunny opens a quote that already contains the current terms, co-terms new products to the existing end date and prorates the charges.
Does quoting work with my CRM?
Yes. Bunny integrates with Salesforce and HubSpot, so reps can start a quote from the CRM record and the deal amount syncs back.
