Revenue operations software that owns the data
Bunny is SaaS billing, CPQ and RevOps for B2B SaaS. As revenue operations software, it keeps quotes, subscriptions, invoices and revenue data in one system of record — so your RevOps team owns the numbers instead of stitching five tools together to find them.
What is revenue operations software?
Revenue operations software is the set of systems a RevOps team uses to run the path from deal to cash: quoting, subscriptions, billing, collections and revenue reporting. The best version is one system of record for all of it, not a chain of tools passing data down the line.
Most SaaS companies get there the other way round. A CRM for the pipeline, a CPQ bolted onto it, an e-signature tool, a billing system, an accounting package and a spreadsheet that tries to make them agree. Each tool is fine on its own. The trouble lives in the handoffs. For a category-by-category view of the stack, see our guide to the best RevOps tools.
What a stitched stack costs RevOps
-
Rekeying. The signed quote gets typed into billing by hand, and every amendment gets typed in again.
-
Reconciliation. MRR in the CRM, MRR in billing and MRR in the board deck are three different numbers until someone spends a week on them.
-
Missed renewals and upsells. Nobody can see the live contract, so expansion is quoted off a stale copy — or not at all.
-
No owner. Sales owns the CRM, finance owns billing, and RevOps owns the glue. More on the cost of siloed revenue data.
Four records, one place, no handoffs
Bunny is the system of record for every record RevOps is answerable for. A signed quote becomes the subscription, the subscription produces the invoices, and the invoices and contract terms drive the revenue numbers — one chain of data, never copied between systems.
-
01 · Quotes
Deals priced from the real catalog
Bunny CPQ handles custom pricing, ramps, multi-year terms and approval workflows, with e-signature through DocuSign, Dropbox Sign or Bunny Sign. Renewals and upsells are quoted against the live subscription.
-
02 · Subscriptions
The contract, kept current
The accepted quote becomes the subscription — trials, renewal terms, add-ons, mixed recurring and usage charges. Every upgrade or amendment goes through a quote, with proration handled, so the contract history stays complete.
-
03 · Invoices
Billing straight off the contract
Invoices generate from the subscription’s billing schedule, with credit notes, payment collection, sales tax through Avalara and dunning workflows built in. See Bunny SaaS billing.

04 · Revenue data
Metrics nobody has to reconcile
MRR and ARR movements, churn, NRR and GRR, retention cohorts, AR aging, renewals and a forward invoice forecast, all calculated from live billing data. ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition comes with the Advanced Billing add-on.
That chain — quote, subscription, invoice, revenue — is quote-to-cash in one product. RevOps configures it once and owns every record in it.
How quote-to-cash worksWhy should RevOps own the revenue data?
Because RevOps gets asked every one of these questions. Here’s how long the answer takes on a stitched stack, and on Bunny.
| The question | Stitched stack | Bunny |
|---|---|---|
| What is this customer paying right now? | Check the CRM, then billing, then ask finance which one is right | Read it off the live subscription |
| Did last month's upsell make it into billing? | Find the order form, check whether someone rekeyed it | The signed quote became the subscription change |
| What is our MRR, and why did it move? | Export from billing, rebuild movements in a spreadsheet | MRR movements (new, expansion, contraction, churn) calculated as subscriptions change |
| Which renewals are coming up and who is working them? | Filter the CRM, cross-check contract end dates by hand | Upcoming renewals and unworked renewal quotes in one view |
| Who owes us money? | Pull AR aging from accounting, match it to accounts | AR aging by account, next to the subscription and contract |
| What will we invoice next quarter? | Model it from contract PDFs | Invoice forecast from committed recurring fees and usage history |

A two-minute walkthrough of Bunny analytics — MRR and ARR movements, trials, retention, collections, invoice forecast and renewals, all calculated from live billing data.

Bunny Analytics is organized into several sections. In addition to the overview, you can navigate to trials, revenue, collections, retention, forecast, and renewals. The overview dashboard gives you a quick snapshot of your business. Here, you can view monthly and annual recurring revenue, monthly revenue over time, and the number of new and total paying accounts.
The Trials dashboard helps you monitor who is trying the product and how those trials are performing. You can see trials per month, which ones are converting, and which ones are dropping off. You can also see where trials are coming from across the US and globally. The Revenue dashboard provides a deeper look at your revenue.
In addition to MRR and ARR, you can view monthly revenue over time here, along with the movements. This is a drill down where you can see new business, expansion, contraction, and outright churn. We also track compound growth rate, as well as revenue per state and country. The Collections dashboard helps you stay on top of customer collections.
You can see how your outstanding revenue is aging from zero to ninety days, along with the top unpaid accounts. On the Retention dashboard, we take a closer look at how effectively you are retaining your customers. At the top, you can see monthly churn rate, followed by net retention and gross retention, which are two very important metrics for SaaS businesses.
Finally, you have a cohort chart that shows how well you are retaining customers over time. The Forecast dashboard lets you predict how much revenue you're collecting in the coming months. You can see the monthly numbers at the top, as well as the detailed invoices being collected below. Finally, we have the renewals. The renewal amounts per month are shown in the top chart, followed by detailed accounts in the table below. And this is Bunny Analytics.
The CRM sells. The ledger closes. Bunny holds the contract.
Owning the data doesn’t mean ripping out the tools around it. Reps can work Bunny quotes and subscriptions from inside HubSpot, and Salesforce opportunities stay updated as quotes are created and shared. Journal entries sync to QuickBooks or Xero, cards and bank payments run through Stripe, and Avalara handles sales tax.
One source of truth is what makes an AI agent useful
Because every record lives in Bunny, the Bunny RevOps Agent can answer “which renewals haven’t been quoted?” and then draft the quotes — in Bunny, in Slack, or from Claude and ChatGPT over MCP. Read-only lookups can’t change data, and quotes stay drafts until someone on your team applies them.
Meet the RevOps AgentThe RevOps expert your team never had.
- Type "send upgrade quotes to all starter plan accounts" — done in seconds
- Know which renewals need you this month, while there is still time to do something about it
- Find every overdue invoice in one question, instead of one account at a time
